The short version

Just Landed has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. We do not collect, sell or share your personal information. What you tell the app stays on your device.

What stays on your device

Your answers (like your visa type, home country, state, city and arrival month), the steps you tick, saved guides, the dates you add in My Papers and the day counters. They are stored only on your phone, or in your browser on the website. We never receive them. Deleting the app, or clearing the site data in your browser, removes them.

Reminders

If you allow notifications, reminders for your papers are scheduled on your phone itself. No reminder or date is sent to us or to any server.

Weather alerts

To show weather alerts, the app asks the US National Weather Service (weather.gov) for alerts in your state. Only the two-letter state code is sent, like "TX". The National Weather Service may log that request like any website does.

Links and maps

Guides link to official websites, and Near you opens your maps app with a search typed in. Those sites and apps have their own privacy policies.

Children

Just Landed is for adults and families moving to the US. It is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
